Huskies For Christ is campus group at the University of Washington.

The purpose of HFC is to further the Christian faith of University of Washington students across campus. We put Christ first, and enjoy small group gatherings, weekly Bible studies @ UW (MIDWEEK), and outings/retreats. We believe the Bible is the Word of God, and as we study his Word we grow in Him.
If you are looking for a Bible Study, small group, or Fellowship, please email us or browse the website for information.

About HFC

Huskies For Christ is a Christian student fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. The group is the first ministry of the Northwest Campus Ministry Project  (NCMP), designed to reach college-students in the Pacific Northwest with the transforming power of Jesus.   The NCMP is under the oversight of the CEA, a church planting organization in the Pacific Northwest.  Check out their website at thecea.org.   We are a member of the National Association of Christian Campus Ministries (NACCM).  You can check out the NACCM at naccm.org.

Staff

Corey Whitaker:  Corey knows the value of campus ministry because college was where he came to experience a real relationship with God.  After working with some great people in campus ministry in Missouri, Corey and his family made the move to Seattle to work with students at UW and other Seattle campuses.  Corey likes hanging out with his wife and kids, eating with students running, basketball, fishing, and visiting all the cool outdoor places in the Pacific Northwest. He has been married his wonderful wife Rebekah since 1999.  They have 4 kids:  Grace, Justus, Harley, and Glory Whitaker.

What we believe (the statement of faith)

We believe that we are here on this Earth, and on this campus, to know God and to glorify God by living out the Christian faith in our daily lives. We believe that God has saved us from the eternal consequences of sin (death and separation from God) by the redemptive sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and that any who come to Christ can truly know abundant life in this world and the next. We believe that Christian fellowships can help to make campus a better place, and can complement the campus' role as an academic environment by offering any student a place to know the Jesus in a non-threatening, non-coercive environment. We believe that Christianity is about unity, and not division, and our fellowship should focus on healing rifts, and not creating them. There are many more things we believe than just this, but hey, the website can only contain a few key points!
